I began racing BMX at age seven locally in Southern California. In 1984, I began racing ATVs. My first race was at age ten in a closed-course, 150-mile team race, placing 3rd in class out of twenty eight riders. I was 6 years younger than any other competitor.
GOALS FOR 2004:
I will continue to streamline my current vintage business and develop our professional team. I will race west coast club races in a Porsche GT3 Cup. Compete in The December NASA 25-hour endurance race at Thunderhill and compete in 10 vintage races.
GOALS FOR 2005:
Initiate our Emory Motorsports Professional Race Team. I will test at Daytona in January, and compete in my first Grand American Rolex Race on or before June of 2005.

CHRISTOPHER W. RIDGWAY

RACING GENESIS:
I began racing BMX at age five and eventually competed as an expert. In 1984, I transitioned to mini bikes, and then to the professional ranks in 1992.
GOALS FOR 2004:
I will be competing at west coast road races by June 2004. In December, I will also meet the requirements to be a professional racecar driver, as stated by the Automobile Competition Committee For the United States, FIA, INC. This will enable me to participate in the Grand American sports car road racing series by June of 2005.
GOALS FOR 2005:
In 2006 I want to be regarded as a top-level driver in the Rolex Grand American Series. I am committed to succeed, and to be an advocate for charity and professionalism.
OUTLOOK ON LIFE:
I have no regrets. I’ve sacrificed more than most, and not as much as others. I hope to inspire and help other amputees lead more productive lives through my example and dedication.
